Washington, D.C. — Today, Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger (TN-01) attended the signing of an executive order by President Donald Trump banning biological men from competing in women's sports.
Rep. Harshbarger was recognized by President Trump for her support and work to protect women's sports.
Rep. Harshbarger released the following statement.
"I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day than being at the President's side when he was signing today's executive order.
"I have been a tireless advocate for keeping biological men out of women's sports and spaces, and it's awfully refreshing to have President Trump back in office to fight for common sense policies just like this. The future of our country is bright!"
