Rep. Harshbarger Announces 2025 Congressional Art Competition

March 14, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Rep. Diana Harshbarger is excited to announce the details of the annual Congressional Art Competition. This longstanding competition gives high school students from across the nation the opportunity to display their original art in the halls of Congress.

This competition is open to all high school students in Northeast Tennessee, grades 9-12. The deadline to submit artwork is Friday, April 4, at 3:00 PM. Students can submit their artwork by visiting www.harshbarger.house.gov/services/art-competition.

“This is one of the events I look forward to most every year. Getting to see firsthand the artistic talent of our students and eventually choosing one piece of incredible art to be viewed by tens of thousands of people who visit our Capitol every year gives me great pride. I look forward to showcasing the talent of our young East Tennesseans!”
