Rep. Harshbarger Named Vice Chair of House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health

Background: Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger, a licensed pharmacist, has been a leading voice in Congress on healthcare reform and patient access. Since taking office, she has fought to expose the abusive practices of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and championed bipartisan efforts to bring transparency and accountability to the prescription drug supply chain. Harshbarger has introduced and supported legislation to modernize drug pricing, expand access to care in rural communities, and ensure pharmacists and providers have a stronger voice in patient care decisions.
