BLUFF CITY, Tenn. — Some drawings, melted lights, and other smoked damaged items are all that remains in the Briggs' family apartment. This after a fire destroyed nearly everything the family owned last weekend.

KINGSPORT – U.S. Rep. Diana Harshbarger, R-1st, said Friday that the booking of former President Donald Trump in the Fulton County jail is a “travesty” and constitutes “election interference.”
“They’re doing everything they can to keep that man from being the nominee,” Harshbarger said.
Harshbarger made the comments after holding a “Conversations with Your Congresswoman” event at the Kingsport Academic Village. The congresswoman spent more than an hour speaking to constituents and answering questions.

Tennessee’s 1st District U.S. House Rep. Diana Harshbarger held a town hall style event in Greeneville on Wednesday morning.
Greene County is in Tennessee’s 1st U.S. House District.
Titled “Coffee With Your Congresswoman,” the event gave local constituents an opportunity to hear Harshbarger speak and ask her questions.
A large crowd filled the Lyceum at the Niswonger Campus of Walters State Community College for the event.

The St. James Volunteer Fire Department fire chief, Isaac Ottinger, showed off a new (to them) fire engine, recently built fire hall, and equipment purchased with a federal grant to U.S. Rep. Diana Harshbarger during her visit to the station in the St. James community Wednesday afternoon.
The fire chief said the 1992 36-foot-long E-1 fire engine was purchased used, and in very good shape, from the Widewater Volunteer Fire Department in Stafford County in Virginia for $7,000.

It was a packed house Tuesday morning at the Bonnie Kate Theater as U.S. Rep. Diana Harshbarger (R-Tenn.) conducted something of a town hall with constituents who make up what she called “one of the reddest districts in the whole country, the top three.”

ROGERSVILLE — Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger visited the Veterans Center of East Tennessee in Rogersville to learn more about what they do.
The Veterans Center of East Tennessee was established approximately 18 months ago to provide services to veterans in the area.
While at the center, Harshbarger spoke to the veterans, received a facility tour and learned about the services they provide.
Washington, D.C. - Next week, Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger (TN-01) will host three 'Conversations With Your Congresswoman' events to share updates from Washington, give information on ways her office can help constituents with federal agency-related issues, and answer questions from attendees.

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) – Former United States President Donald Trump appeared in court Thursday following federal charges that he tried to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
U.S. Rep. Diana Harshbarger (R-Tenn.) condemned the indictment calling it “election interference” by President Joe Biden.
