SBA Disaster Loans

Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster assistance for loans to businesses, homeowners, nonprofits, and renters to help them recover are available. 

Application deadlines are 12/2/24 (physical damage) and 7/2/25 (economic injury).  Eligible individuals will have up to one year from the date of their loan to begin making payments, allowing more time to recover.  Additionally, interest does not accrue on SBA disaster loans until 12 months from the initial date of disbursement.

Qualifying counties:

Primary Counties (Physical Damage and Economic Injury Loans): Carter, Cocke, Greene, Hamblen, Hawkins, Johnson, Unicoi, Washington.

Economic injury only: Grainger, Hancock, Jefferson, Sevier, Sullivan.

Physical Loan Application Deadline Date: 12/02/2024.

Economic Injury (EIDL) Loan Application Deadline Date: 07/02/2025.
