117th Congress
By Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger
I truly believe that America is the greatest nation the world has ever seen. That statement is more than a slogan for me, it’s a daily source of pride that we, as Americans, have faced and overcome a great many obstacles in our historied past.
Our nation is made formidable through our Democracy. Each one of us has a civic duty and a privilege to elect leaders that we believe will lead our nation toward a more prosperous, safe, and free future.

The Biden Administration's ineffectual national security strategy has only served to embolden China and weaken American security, said U.S. Rep. Diana Harshbarger, R-Tenn..
Harshbarger shared her critique with State Newswire.
"The Biden administration’s so-called ‘national security’ plan follows 22 months of failing to put Americans first, risking our Republic and kneeling to our enemies," she said. "Addressing the Chinese threat should be one of America’s top priorities, and so far, Joe Biden has had very little bark, let alone any bite."

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger and State Senator Rusty Crowe honored Korean War Veteran, Sergeant James Lee Baker, Monday.
They presented Baker, 93, with awards from the state and federal government. Baker was never awarded for the injuries he sustained during his time in the war. While on six-man patrol in No Man’s Valley, Korea, Baker’s right leg was hit with shrapnel, and he suffered extensive injures.
A group of Republican lawmakers are calling on the Biden administration to reassess the U.S. Coast Guard’s policy for “religious exemptions from the COVID-19 vaccination order,” which will likely force the involuntary discharge of a service member whom President Joe Biden thanked last month for his “heroic work.”
Washington, D.C.- The staff of Congresswoman Harshbarger will be making themselves available at the locations outlined below across Tennessee's First Congressional District to answer questions about how the Congresswoman may be able to help with federal agency related issues and answer questions about what's going on in Washington.
