WASHINGTON, D.C. (WJHL) — Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger has reintroduced legislation that would create a national website to connect pregnant women with nearby resources as alternatives to abortion.
Harshbarger filed the Pregnancy.Gov Act on Thursday.
According to Harshbarger’s office, the website “Pregnancy.gov” would help expectant mother find public and private resources based on zip codes.
Republican Tennessee Rep. Diana Harshbarger is reintroducing the Pregnancy.gov Act to create a website that provides women with a range of pregnancy and post-natal resources, from adoption information and tax preparation to domestic violence services, based on nothing more than their zip code.

WASHINGTON (WJHL) — Congresswoman Diana Harshbarger and Sen. Ted Cruz are spearheading the effort to create a new type of tax-advantaged savings account.
Harshbarger and Cruz filed companion bills on Thursday, introducing the Universal Savings Account (USA) Act.
Similar to Roth IRAs, contributions to the accounts could be taxed, but the growth of the funds in the account would not be taxed.
House Republicans were set to introduce legislation Thursday that seeks to establish Roth IRA-like accounts for Americans that would encourage saving while allowing for financial flexibility.
The Universal Savings Account Act would allow account holders to save in a tax-advantaged account while unlocking access to their money before retirement, according to the Washington Examiner.
BRISTOL, Va. (WCYB) — On Monday, Rep. Diana Harshbarger introduced the American Music Tourism Act to the House.

The accounts would be similar to a Roth IRA, but there is no age minimum or other restriction to withdraw the funds without a penalty, and the growth of the funds would not be taxed.
Congressional Republicans are set to introduce legislation on Thursday aimed at giving consumers a tax-free haven for their savings interest.
